Funny picture and scar progression

Luke is pretty funny, and one day he thought it would be funny to press his face up against the tray from his high chair. He was right it is funny and he likes to do this a lot now!

Here is a picture of how is scar from the hemangioma removal is doing. Its been 8 months since the surgery.

Finally nice enough to play outside!

With snow at the beginning of March we were wondering if we were going to ever get some warmer weather. Well off and on in March we've had some nice days intermixed with very cold days. We took advantage of a slightly warmer afternoon and went to the park with our friends (and neighbors) the Paquettes. Here are a few pictures of our outing.

Snow!

It snowed here and we took Luke out to play while it was still coming down. Josh and I were colder than he was, he could have played all morning!

Noah

Noah doesn't get much blog time. But here is a cute picture of him taken when I moved his bed to vacuum the floor. Noah will be going home to FL with my parents at the end of April so we can try to sell this house without constantly cleaning dog hair or needing to find a place for him to go in case we should have a showing. He'll be back in Birmingham in June.

Last night...the battle of the chair

And this brings us to the present February 2009. Here are a few shots of what happened last night. Noah decided to sit in Luke's chair, and Luke decided to join him. The battle of the chair began...

Then Noah retreated to his usual spot.

Catching up

Since we've been a bit busy the last few months, I've been neglecting the blog. Now with the house officially on the market and a new computer and camera, we are back in business. Sorry to anyone who has been anxiously awaiting new pictures of Luke, I hope this makes up for the absence!

Hi!
Well things are rolling in the Elliott household. We finally got a new computer after Christmas and now all we need is some free time to use it!. I promise it is next on my list after getting the house in shape to go on the market...hopefully Feb 1. And if you know of anyone in search of a home in Birmingham let us know!

I took Luke yesterday for his 15 month check-up. He is doing well, reaching all his milestones. He is 30 inches tall (25%), weighs 21.8 pounds (25%) and his head circumference is 19 1/2 inches (75%). He has 6 teeth (4 up, 2 down) with 2 top molars breaking through right now. He can say a few words: Mama, Dada, something very close to Noah, dog, this, that, uh-oh. He will Moo when he sees a cow or you ask him what a cow says. He's usually right when you ask him to find something in a book. He loves to be read to. He loves climbing the stairs and even has learned how to come down them holding onto the rail. He is fascinated with Noah and knows when Noah is doing something bad. He knows several words in sign language. He can sign milk, all done, and i want more. He may know more signs, because it seems like he does some others, but we don't know them!

I'll try to post some pictures soon to catch you all up on how he has changed in the last couple of months.
