My 30th Birthday

What more could I want?



My parents were in town in June and watched Luke for the day while Josh and me went shopping, saw a movie, and went to dinner with friends. It was a great birthday.

End of the year Party for Noah's Room

The end of May marked the end of the school year for Luke at his Birmingham daycare. He got promoted to the next classroom for the last month before we moved to Atlanta. Poor kid had to change classrooms twice in two months, and while I think he is still adjusting on the change to the new daycare in Atlanta, he is doing better than we hoped for so far. Here a couple of pictures from the end of the year party. Ms. Lisa was one of Luke's favorite teachers and the little girl he is hugging is his friend Kara. I really miss that daycare!

Rest of our Fl trip

We were able to take a few days of vacation in FL following Matt and Jayce's wedding.
We had a lot of fun and with the help of our families, I threw Josh a 30th Birthday Party. We were blessed to have so many family members there who were still in town from the wedding. We also took a fun trip to Lowrey Park Zoo in Tampa. It was a HOT day, but we all had fun.

The Wedding!

We went home to Florida over Memorial Day weekend as Josh's brother Matt was getting married to his fiance Jayce. Luke was asked to be a ring bearer in the wedding and Josh was co-best man. We are so excited for Matt and Jayce! The big day went great, Luke made it half-way down the aisle, but didn't quite make it all the way. Still not bad for a 19-month old. He did not want to be cooperative though for the family pictures after the ceremony. Our apologies to Matt and Jayce as I am sure they did not even get one good picture with Luke in it. McWane Science Center

There is a nice Science Center in Birmingham and one rainy Saturday in May we went with our neighbors the Paquette's to let the boys run around. They had a great time and we were all ready to go after an hour and a half! Time for lunch and naps for the kids. Here are a few pictures of our morning there.

Just a picture I love

Horses!

A friend and co-worker of mine had a party at her ranch in early May to celebrate the birth of a foal her horse had. Since Luke loves horses I took him there to see the mama and baby. There were also ducks and lots of dogs. He was in heaven, that is until we went up to see the horses in person and Mama said her "NEIGH" right at us. I can only describe the look and scream that Luke emmitted as shear terror. (By the way this also just happened to us today at Chick-Fil-A when a man dressed in the cow costume tried to give Luke a high-5).
